Good afternoon friends, today's edition is  towards a special specie made for a greater purpose in life, God created these creatures with a special effect and a touch that is unbeatable; the female, we are special in many ramifications than we accord ourselves, many time we do NOT understand the power that God has embedded in us and we belittle ourselves in ways that does not glorify the creator that has created us. There comes a time in our lives and we feel that it is time to move to the next level, do the next thing in life, you know, whether get married or improve our career lives.

The story that i am sharing today is a very famous one, many of us know that story, the story of two women, one that found favor in the presence of God and the other that was tagged as a disobedient woman.

In the days of King Herod, he had a huge party for the whole community and according to the bible, the party lasted for seven days, imagine how tired the entire community will be not to talk of the one that is almost in charge of running the party (this is a retold story, my version, lol), on the last day of the party, the king decided to call out his queen and show her off to the people, he sent for her but she refused to come out and therefore, she was tagged as a bad queen, disobedient and rude; now look at it in this aspect, even though the queen had disobeyed the king, the messenger could have covered up for her, the elders at the table could have begged on her behalf and ask for forgiveness instead of condemning her the more, the king himself could have chosen to pardon his beloved wife regardless, but instead the opposite happened, and she was condemned to evicted and extincted as queen; but then again, she might have been doing this before now, and today just happened to be different or she just might have ran out of favor both in the eyes of the king and most especially in the eyes of God.

Then there is the story Esther, the point she entered into the place she was favored by both the young and the old; first the chief guard in charge of the maidens took a certain likeness to her and preferred her above the other ladies that were in the competition. And when the time came for a queen to be selected, the king picked her from the rest of the crowd, this is someone that had no background in that country, matter of fact, she was a slave taken hostage but there was a turn around in her destiny and she became queen in a strange land; now that is what I called immeasurable favor. Now, something happened during the reign of Esther as a queen, there is a law in the land that a queen cannot come into the presence of the king without being summoned, but Esther broke this rule and went to the chamber of the king without being asked to show up, the king and his elders were shocked and upset when they saw her but instead of taking her offence in her action, the king chose to overlook her action and forgive her.

These are two different women, both queen in the same kingdom at different times, both committed an act of disobedience but one was pardoned for her deeds and one was punished for it. What i see in play in the lives of these two women is what i see as time and favor of God. As we grow and seek to move onto the next level of our lives, we need to actually understand that there is a God part and there is a part that we are meant to play as humans; one cannot work without the other, we need favor to make the right decisions, we need favor to stay in that decision, we need favor not to make error and destroy the decision. Because i don't think that Vashti wasn't destined to be a queen but at a point she made an error that destroyed that destiny; what we need in our life is to seek the favor not to fall out of place with our destiny because take it or leave everything in our lives is tied to our destiny including getting married and not making mistake before the wedding and in the marriage.
