| Please live and let live |
Many times, we get caught up in the web of finding out what we want in life and working towards that perfection of being who we are expected to be, but in the midst of all our searching we get caught in the reality of life and then it might occur to one that all that matters is for me to make it, once I do, all will be well, I will help my family, and improve the nation, and then there is an unconscious strive between us and the next man; but that is not always the case, wanting to beat the light before it turns red not minding who we run over or hurt in the process of our race to the great destination.
The truth is that every man have that urge to be selfish and not consider the next person but the way you handle your selfishness is what determines your ability to let other's live just as much as you live; I am not saying a literal effect of killing someone through your selfishness, i am saying that in our bid to rush through life and make things work for us, let us be considerate of the next person to us, it is not right to be all about you in life, everyone has to run at your pace or you cut them right them off, that is not how to be successful. Remember that there is good success and there is bad success, what do you want your success to be, one that inspire people to be better and also uplift them or one that makes people feel less than they are or one that had to reap off the short-comings of others.
Live and let live is your ability to be successful not at the expense of the other person, is your ability to be considerate of your neighbor and not walk over the other person regardless of your age, level of exposure and edge in life; but keep in mind that your ability to be mindful of your environment and how you inspire them positively is what makes you an influence in the environment. This is how I look at it, if I am at receiving end of the ladder, how would I feel? If I can't deal with people walking all over me, then I shouldn't do that to people; if I won't take being looked down upon, then I should not look down or talk down on others.
Live and let live, weigh other people's feeling with your feeling; it is true that everyone is unique in their own but if you have got feeling that you don't want to be trampled on, then why trample on the feelings of others? Live and let live, consider how your actions, thoughts or words would affect the other person because what most people fail to realize most time is that we have an influence on people more than we imagine and if you are not impacting these people the way you ought too, then you do not have good success. Live and let live is considering the result of your actions before actually acting them; Live and let live is living for yourself, living for others and most importantly living for God.
You were not created for yourself alone, you were created for that person living next to you, you were created to be an impact in the life of everyone that you come in contact, so my people, Live and Let Live.
