STORY OF THE SNAKE

DO NOT BE DECEIVED


There is a popular saying where i am from that the only person you know deeply is yourself, you do not know the ones that love you or the ones that does not. Also every lizard lays flat on their tummy but we have no idea which one of them has stomach pain; these saying are so real and practical and many people just play with them not knowing the depth of their meaning. Recently, i read a story on Facebook about a lady that had a snake as pet, she would feed this snake and care for it like a child to a point of even sleeping on the same bed with the snake. As time passed, the snake would not eat whatever it is being presented with and would just mope around the house but the lady continued to try all her best to feed this snake. One day, she couldn't take the fact that her beloved pet was not eating and gradually looking skinning so she decided to go the vet with the snake; on getting to the vet, she got a very rude awakening. The vet asked her a couple of questions about her relationship with the snake and she provided answers, and then the vet asked if the snake wrapped itself around her at night, she said yes, that is one of the reason why she brought in the snake.

 I Would Rather Have An Honest Enemy Than A Fake Friend

With this, the vet told her that the snake had not been sick before and there is nothing presently wrong with the snake that the snake is only preparing to kill her; the said snake has been wrapping itself around her every night just for the purpose of practicing how it would strangle her, looking for the right opportunity to perform it cause and another thing, the snake has refused to eat whatever food it was given because the snake was creating enough room and space to be able to digest its prey 'the lady' whenever the consumption takes place. The vet advice the young lady to either kill the snake or take it the zoo. "What a story" right.

 How many of us are living with a snake? Snake does not mean the physical animal, or a reptile; but this can represent a family member, a friend, a co-worker and so on and so forth. Do not be deceived by the very close person that is always giving you a hug and a kiss; remember even Jesus Christ was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, one of his very own right hand man. Pray for the spirit of discernment, and let God help you overcome the enemy by not being prey to them, anyone can be used as an instrument. Be wise and realize that we live in a wicked and hostile world and not everybody that smiles with you is your friend. Be Discerning!!!!!
May God help us not to give ourselves to the enemy in Jesus name.

An enthusiastically emotional realist. I believe that life is not all about YES or NO but a few Mybes and In-decisions but your ability to figure it out makes you stand out. A lover of God and His ways and I believe that a Hopeless romantic is not bad because we view life in a romantic angle.
