Many times in life, we go through things and we wonder what we have done wrong or what is it that
we are currently not doing; forgetting the fact that there might be some missing angles or a crack in the wall that we have not paid close attention to, which might be the link So what if you stop for a moment and you try to see what God is trying to show you or what lesson is there to learn. The amazing thing with God is if you have not passed that level or aced the test, He will definitely not take you to the next level.
For years, I didn't understand the efficacy of leaning the lesson in a situation and i will cry and be moody with a whole lot of pity party and all that comes with it; but as time goes on, as i began to mature in the things of life and in the way that God relates to us, it began to dawn on me that if i have not passed a class there is no way i can graduate from that class. it is just logical isn't it. it applies to our daily life; if we have not passed from grade 3 in school, there is no way you can proceed to grade 4; the actual process of life has to physically take place because without gaining the right knowledge in the aspect, what will you apply to the next level that will make you excel and surpass those that didn't go through the training. Therefore, this automatically apply to our growth in life because if we have not learned the lesson from a situation then there will be a continuous repeat of that until we eventually learn that thing that God is trying to teach us.
The reason we feel stuck or stagnant in life is because we have refused to see the possibility of a life changing experience in a situation; a mentor of mine once told me that if i keep failing a test in the eyes of God, i will remain in that same spot until He sees that i have learned the lesson for that aspect of my life and until i actually realized the truth in what she was saying to me, i wasn't able to move beyond my situation; not saying that there God is the orchestrate of our troubles because of course there are times when the devil sees us as prey and he decides to throw things at us just to distract us from the goal but i want to say to you that there are also times when God will test you just to prove your qualification for a position in life that He is taking you to.So instead of the pity party and the lamentation that comes with brooding on an issue, why don't you take time out to actually ask God what is He trying to say to you about this situation, what do i have to learn from the things happening around me right now because if you have not learned that key thing, you might not be qualified for the next level of life.
Instead of crying; PRAY
Instead of worrying; ASK FOR DIRECTION
Instead of a pity party; ASK FOR THE LESSON TO LEARN
