HE WINS YOUR BATTLES

THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD
How are you doing today? As i was in the shower today, thinking of what to write, this topic was dropped in my mind by the Holy Spirit; "HE FIGHTS OUR BATTLE" and all morning, i have been sitting on my desk thinking of something that would go with that topic but nothing seemed to be coming to mind. I started to feel like my monthly cycle was here so i looked in my bag for some sanitary pad but couldn't get any so i went to ask my friend if she had any which of course she did. As i was about stepping out of her room, we started talking about the story of the woman with the issues of blood for 12 years and in the course of our conversation, it clicked that God in His infinite mercy was giving me something to write about to my lovely readers today. That is another example of how HE wins our battles *winks*. 
The story of the woman with the issue of blood is a popular one in the bible and also around the world. This was a woman, i mean a fellow woman that actually bled every day continuously for 12 years non-stop; even the thought of it alone is very scary. Now, look at it from this angle, the incidence occurred in times when there was nothing like sanitary pads and tissue paper which leaves us with the option of using cloth as means of protecting herself. Imagine how many rags she would have needed to change into everyday, the shame and pain she would have had to endure from that incidence on a continuous basis. People would have laughed at her, friends and family might have abandoned her in that time of love, many people would have said she was cursed, others might have said she is paying for a sin she committed or those of her parents. You know in the midst of all that, a lot of things would have been said and done to her.



 But in the midst of all these, she heard that a healer was in town, the savior of the universe, the messiah of all times; and she determined to leave all the negatives and sadness behind her. She decided to work away from her past and forgive those that have hurt her. She walked towards being healed and most importantly she had faith in God that just touching the helm of His garment will make her whole. Luke 17:6; IF your faith is as small as a mustard seed; if only you know how tiny a mustard seed is, and that is all the faith required. She had faith and went to the balm of Gilead, touched  the helm of His garment and the blood dried up. Imagine an issue of 12 years fade away in just a second by just a touch. Isn't this God amazing

 What i am trying to say in essence is that no matter how bad your situation is,no matter what people have said to you or done to you, the one that can fight and win even when you don't have a clue of what is going on can win the battle for you as long as you believe that "He wins OUR Battle. All you have to do is let Him have them and watch Him work them".

An enthusiastically emotional realist. I believe that life is not all about YES or NO but a few Mybes and In-decisions but your ability to figure it out makes you stand out. A lover of God and His ways and I believe that a Hopeless romantic is not bad because we view life in a romantic angle.
