I HAVE A DREAM

ACT ON IT, DON'T JUST SAY IT

We are in a world where people would rather say and keep speaking of a great dream that they have and conveniently not do anything about that dream, expecting the dream to walk to their doorstep and make itself work for them but life does not operate like that. Even the bible says that faith without works is dead so if you are not doing anything about your dream, that is all it would be, 'a dream'.
God has given us all that we could ask for to be all we need to be, to achieve all we want to achieve on earth but it is not all about just speaking of the promises of God to us, it is actually about our ability to work out those promises and be what we want to be regardless of circumstances around us. As it is written in Philippians 2:12; therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed not only in my presence but now in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. So with every dream we have or every promises of God for us, we must consciously work on them.

What i am saying in essence is that, it is not enough to only have dreams, you also want to pursue those dreams with passion and a zeal for greatness; dedicating your time and energy to making that dream a reality because you cannot birth your dream unless you arise and chase it. Every great person fails more than once so in the phase of chasing after your dreams, there is no assurance that there will not be a stumbling block or two, there is no guarantee that there won't be gloomy days and giving up moments, but your ability to get up and dust yourself is what declares you a winner. Remember, the greatest risk in life is not taking any risk at all. And at the beginning of your dream, nobody will believe you, even family and friends will not see the goodness and greatness in your desires and aspirations for life. But trust me, when that dream becomes a reality (after you have worked it) everybody would be associated to you.
Way forward
Disappointments and discouragement will come, by your inner being that have not seen the length of your breakthrough, by family members who believe that you are just wasting time, energy and resources, from friends who think you are not being realistic, but i confirm to you today, those that discourage you today will ask for your encouragement tomorrow, they will ask you how you got to where you are. 2 Timothy 1:7; for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I am saying that there are times when the devil will try to sway you and take you off track but you have an advocate in heaven that is willingly ready to back you up in achieving that dream you have, as long as you are ready to work it out.

Remember, it is not enough to dream a dream, it is your responsibility to wake up from that sleep and then act on that dream to become a reality. God bless you!!!

An enthusiastically emotional realist. I believe that life is not all about YES or NO but a few Mybes and In-decisions but your ability to figure it out makes you stand out. A lover of God and His ways and I believe that a Hopeless romantic is not bad because we view life in a romantic angle.
