After finding those hidden talents and gifts that have been embedded in you by the most high God, the next step us to unwrap your gift; I mean what use is a gift that you have and you refuse to open. Romans 12:5-6; says that we are many but we are of one body, and we all have our own different gifts according to the grace given to us... God has given us all our own gifts, it is left to us to find them, unwrap them, use them and we definitely get the benefits of the gift. Unwrapping your gift means that you have recognized the talents and gifts that God has bestowed to you, and you are ready to open it and see what is in it for you. Your gifts is different from mine as we have seen in Cor. 12:1-13; and your ability to identify that gift you have is what gives you the stand and right you have towards the gift and also the will power to open the gift.
Now lets take a practical look at the real world today, Christmas as a practical example;you know how we have the annual Secret Santa in our different organizations, where there will be picking of hidden name and on the date that is selected by the team. On the selected date, everybody comes together and each person picks a gift that is entitled to them by the name inscribed on each gift. Hence, the only thing that qualifies you to open a gift is the fact that you have identified the gift as yours. But the question is how will you identify the gift if you didn't participate in the original process of the Secret Santa but then again, how can you participate if you are not a part of the fold, if you are not a part of the body. 
I stated in the beginning paragraph that God has embedded us all a gift that is different from the next person, but if you have not identified yourself with God, how will you see the gift that has been given to, hence the first step is to discover your gift and accept that gift. In other words, I am saying that to be in the first step of discovering your gift and accepting them, you have to identify yourself with the maker and giver of the gifts. Once you associate yourself with the maker and giver of the gift who is God, it will be easy to identify your gift. Identifying your gift therefore is what gives you the permission to unwrap you gift.
So what does it mean to UNWRAP YOUR GIFT? Unwrapping your gift means that you have come to the actualization of accepting God as the giver of all;then according to the parable of the talents, accept that your talent and gift might not be the same as your siblings or your neighbor but it carries as much weight because remember that we all have different gifts and talents. Work on making the most of the gifts that God has given you and you will see the reward/benefits of walking in the path that God has created.
Remember, your ability and willingness to unwrap your gifts is the only way to see the full potential of the plans of God for you in the land of the living. Make the move, take the step. UNWRAP YOUR GIFT and make it happen, God will give you the benefits of "UNWRAPPING YOUR GIFT"(Adeola Oladele)
