There is something obviously wrong with this picture |
Yes, the bible said love your neighbor as yourself and prefer the next person above you; do NOT forget that but also in the process always remember that if you keep pouring and giving without being connected to the right source (which means you are not getting anything back, you are not being filled up regularly, you will be exhausted early)
We have plenty different characters on earth and there are those that would want you to do anything for them at anytime, and the very first time you say NO you are being tagged different names. Good News, ain't nothing wrong with you baby, "you are just being human" and are allowed to get tired, and are allowed to say NO without anyone feeling entitled to your YES; emphasis on the 'your'. Even God says NO to us sometimes and that does not make Him the evil king or a bad person. But human beings have the habit of playing the guilt card even when it is not needed just to make you feel like the bad person, but trust me, there is nothing wrong with you, you are just being human.
Reasons why you should say NO and NOT feel bad about it?

2. A river that does not flow will smell; you will get pretty exhausted quickly if you always say YES to people, I mean you are not a superhuman you also need to relax sometimes
4. If you keep saying yes, you will become general/public slave...I know that you need to serve before you can lead but not on the platform of your intelligence being played on (human beings are fond of doing that)
5. Finally, if you are not there, they will find a way around it so why do you have to do it?
These are facts that we need to tell ourselves if not, we will be trampled upon so easily and feel exhausted and used.
PS: I hope this has helped anyone in anyway.
