DAY 1
I thank GOD (the trinity one) for being always faithful, ever ready and always there to protect me. So it is the first day of November, my birth month. In June, when my friend turned sister Patience Joy Ijehon did her 30 days of gratitude, I was inspired to do mine in the month of November and I remember mentioning to her that I would do mine just like she did. Closer to the month of November, I started to get cold feet and I thought to myself, maybe not again. But waking up this morning, I saw her text on my phone urging and encouraging me to do this, so here it is...thanks soul sister Patience Joy Ijehon. I want to thank God for the gift of life, the author and the finisher of my faith, the one that has given me every part of my body and make them function perfectly. The one that has embedded me with this gift and that is using me as a blessing not just to myself but to other people. The creator of my soul, the lover of my life, the one that sits on the throne of my heart. My peace, my serenity, my tranquility, my ever true king, my rescuer, my redeemer, the most high God. The agbadagbururu,the arugbo ojo, ogbeni nija keru o b'onija, olowo gbogboro, eze ndi eze, onyiobioma, the good God the everlasting King. I just want to say thank you Jesus for the completion of one year and the eventual beginning of another. The one that has not allowed my enemy to prevail upon me, the one that has preserved my soul from every destruction.
The reason I am alive today, the reason i can write, the reason I can think, the reason I can reason, the reason I believe, the reason I can love. I give Him all the praise because without Him, I don't know where I would be today. I love you Jesus with the whole of my being, with the whole of my existence and I thank you for your mercy in this 30 days gratitude.
